Where Should an Automatic Litter Box Live?

The best location works for both the cat and the person maintaining the box. Start with a level, dry surface and an approach that remains clear.

Living room

Choose a quiet edge of the room, outside busy walking paths. Leave enough clearance to reach the waste drawer and clean around the unit.

Laundry room

Keep the box away from appliance vibration, swinging doors, and anything that can bump the unit. The floor must remain dry and stable.

Bathroom

Use only a dry position away from sinks, tubs, showers, and splash zones. Follow the manual's electrical and clearance instructions.

Bedroom or studio

Consider normal cycle sound, nighttime use, and ventilation. If a measurement or required clearance is not listed, confirm it with support before committing to the space.
